In the 1,000+ films I have watched in my existence, a common theme arises. Even in some of the oldest movies made, the Fear of Technology is a commonplace topic. In the initial science fiction film, Metropolis (1927) a fem-bot destroys the town. In Modern day Time s (1936) Charlie Chaplin, a factory employee, has a nervous breakdown because of his high-stress technological task. In a gamut of much more recent movies like the Terminator series, Transformers sequence, and I, Robot (2004) just to title a number of, technological innovation is a menace. Technological innovation rises up towards the fleshy creators (or mere humans) and destroys modern society.Humanity in these movies are also partially saved by technological innovation. Terminators John Conner is regularly rescued by technology as it seeks to wipe out him. The Deceptacons, usually armed forces and non-car robots, lead to enormous quantities of destruction on Earth although we are saved by Optimus Prime (an eighteen wheeler) and his Autobots (A selection of automobiles, vans, and types of Civilian transportation). This also shows a slight fear of navy invasion, a fret that war has ruined our modern society.Probably a single of the greatest factors we worry technological innovation is that engineering removes our requirement in the wor
