Core routines have become the topic of the times for all sports men. Equestrian riders in particular need a very strong core,horse riders need to know how to use their core. Going to the gym is not enough.Gym ball exercises, gym exercises and Pilates reformers all work the core. These are all great tools for the dressage rider to use when not riding. However a strong core is not enough if a rider does not have lower back flexibility or know how to engage their core when needed. Specializedtraining for the core is absolutely essential for the horse rider.
